Description The Food and Beverage Supervisor is to ensure that the individual outlets of the food and beverage department are operating in an efficient manner while offering the highest levels of product and service quality. Works between Wendover Nugget Hotel & Casino and Red Garter Hotel & Casino . Pay range: 17$/hr. day & swing, 18$/hr. graveyard Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Ensure proper staffing for restaurant and beverage in accordance with current labor models and expected guest volumes. Ensure food and beverage products meet quality standards and are served according to current specifications (plating, glassware, garnish, etc). Assist in controlling food and beverage costs: ensure inventories are protected and remove potential avenues for theft, ensure all items served are accurately recorded in the POS, ensure portion sizes meet current specifications. Assist department leadership team in reaching all established financial and service goals. Lead, develop and coach restaurant and beverage service employees. Assigns work tasks and activities, prepares schedules, and ensures that all shifts are covered Communicate as needed with other members of the F&B management team as well as other departments throughout the property. Requisition supplies in appropriate quantities from both internal and external suppliers. Inspect food and beverage areas for cleanliness and organization. Stay current on special events, functions, featured menus, etc. Efficiently complete all administrative tasks required for assigned outlets and employees. Must be comfortable working with multiple computer applications. Maintain adequate timekeeping records. Conduct periodic staff meetings. Ensure all restaurant and beverage departments adhere to all established health and safety guidelines. Communicate constantly with guests to ensure satisfaction and to collect feedback. Ensure all employees adhere to responsible alcoholic beverage service standards. Perform related and/or other duties as required. Requirements Be at least 21 years of age. Must be high school graduate or equivalent Minimum of one year of Food and Beverage experience, preferably in a multi-unit operation. Excellent public relations skills are mandatory.
