* Are you passionate about the hospitality industry and looking for an exciting leadership role? * Monday-Friday shifts, with rare weekend work * Join our team as the Food and Beverage Team Leader at St Joseph Mews * Deliver exceptional customer service in a fantastic environment About the role We’re seeking an experienced and hands-on Food & Beverage Team Leader to coordinate the day-to-day delivery of high-quality café/bar and function service. You’ll lead by example on shift, support rostering and event coordination, and work closely with the Retirement Living Manager, Chef, and wider team to ensure every resident and guest enjoys a welcoming, enjoyable and attentive experience. About you  As the Food & Beverage Team Leader, you will be involved in the daily service across the bar, and café areas, coordinate in-house functions, and help keep operations running smoothly—from presentation and compliance to stock control and end-of-day processes.  You will provide superior customer service at all times ensuring a comfortable environment for residents and their families.  You will assist in the coordination of events from planning to delivery. Skills and Experience required. * Responsible Serving of Alcohol (RSA) qualification. * Clear understanding of food handling requirements. * Demonstrated passion for the Hospitality Industry. * Ability to plan and implement functions. * Warm, genuine strong communication skills * Collaborative, Positive, happy demeanour * Demonstrated ability to train staff ‘on the job’, coaching skills. * Even temperament, patience and empathy * Ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team * Strong work ethic and demonstrated commitment to high quality customer service Desirable * Experience working in retirement living environment * Experience working in a food services environment and in the supervision of staff Why VMCH?
