As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. Greet and welcome guests in a warm, professional, and hospitable manner Take food and beverage orders accurately while identifying and addressing guest dietary requirements and food allergies Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes, quality standards, and hygiene procedures Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and courteously Ensure proper food handling, storage, and preparation to prevent cross-contamination and allergen risks Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, dining areas, service stations, and equipment Ensure tables and service areas are properly set, cleared, and maintained according to service standards Stay knowledgeable about menu items, ingredients, allergens, and special promotions Follow all food safety, hygiene, health, and security regulations at all times Qualifications Strong customer service orientation with a friendly, professional, and hospitable demeanor Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with guests and team members Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and perform efficiently in a fast-paced food and beverage environment Strong attention to detail, particularly in food preparation, presentation, and order accuracy Basic computer skills and ability to operate POS systems and kitchen-related technology Knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and allergen management is preferred Previous experience in food and beverage service, kitchen operations, or a similar hospitality role is an asset Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle guest concerns calmly and professionally Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and peak service hours High school diploma or equivalent; culinary or hospitality training is an advantage Additional Information At ibis Brighton, we take pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences, driven by a passionate and friendly team in a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere.
