Job Description Food and Beverage Team Member As a Food and Beverage Team Member, you’ll be integral to our front-of-house operations. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities including serving guests, managing reservations, preparing and serving drinks, and ensuring a welcoming environment. Key Responsibilities: For Waitress/Waiter: Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take and accurately record food and beverage orders. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints with a positive attitude. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate service. Follow health and safety regulations at all times. For Host/Hostess: Welcome and greet guests as they enter the restaurant/bar. Manage reservations and assign tables based on availability and guest preferences. Provide accurate wait times and manage guest seating efficiently. Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor throughout each guest interaction. Handle guest inquiries and concerns in a timely and courteous manner. Coordinate with waitstaff and management to ensure smooth service operations. For Bartender: Maintain a clean and organized bar area. Check identification to verify the legal drinking age of guests. Engage with guests to create a memorable experience and provide recommendations. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately. Restock and replenish bar supplies as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in a Food & Beverage role is an advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English, both spoken and written; Arabic language skills are an added advantage. Ability to work in a fast-paced island resort environment and effectively manage multiple tasks. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
