Responsibilities

As a Food and Beverage Trainer, you would be responsible for developing, coordinating, implementing and delivering all Food and Beverage-specific training initiatives in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Review and assess performance needs in Food and Beverage and develop, update and make recommendations for training initiatives or other solutions
  • Track, input and maintain accurate training records in partnership with Human Resources
  • Ensure full compliance with Company training programs within Food and Beverage
  • Plan and conduct meetings with Food and Beverage Managers to track performance trends and prepare action plans and/or training initiatives, as needed
  • Ensure consistency of job skills training, the certification process and documentation
  • Greets internal and external customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Maintaining accurate payroll records for the department
  • Prepares and types corresponded complex numerical/financial reports, as directed
  • Prepares correspondence on behalf of management
  • Duplicates, copies and distributes and mails material for the department/office
  • Orders and maintains office supplies and equipment
  • Maintains files and equipment in an orderly and professional manner
  • Uses the property’s email system and maintains their email box, as is policy
  • Appropriate business use of telephone and voice email system
  • Handles requests from both internal and external, as appropriat
