JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Associate to join our team. REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant is preferred.
  • Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques.
  • Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage; experience with Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly demeanor.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve food items in accordance with established recipes and portion sizes.
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, including Aloha POS and Micros POS, to process customer transactions efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including kitchen equipment and dining areas.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures.
  • Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a tidy dining environment.
  • Follow food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of customers.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
