Food and Hospitality Associate (DAY SHIFT) Masonicare at Middlewoods of Farmington - Farmington, CT Day Shift/ 12 hrs/wk     Summary of Position:          Under the direction of the Director of Dining Services and/or Designee, executes myriad functions related to the success of meal service. Core duties include but are not limited to: sets up and assembles various food to be served to the residents. During the meal service, responsibilities include meeting residents needs and serving various other foods in an attractive professional manner.      Essential Duties and Responsibilities:   1.         Must complete prepatory service assignments and post-service assignments in a timely manner.   2.         Must participate in menu class and present it to residents in a clear, informative and courteous fashion.   3.         Wait on tables in a timely manner and ensure resident needs are met promptly and accurately.   4.         Interact with residents, families and coworkers in a professional manner.   5.         Report to work on time and in proper uniform (clean shirt, bow tie, apron, name tag, black slacks and shoes, and a pen).   6.         Attend all mandatory education events.       Minimum Qualifications:   Education:                  Some high school   Experience:                 On-the-job-training   Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:                Other:                                       Key Competencies: Knowledge of dining room systems and good communication skills.                    Provides care and services that demonstrate behaviors and the principles of person-centered care including affording people dignity, respect and compassion, offering coordinated care, support and treatment and care that is personalized.       This description of job responsibilities is intended to reflect the essential responsibilities and duties of the job, but is not intended to describe minor duties or other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.   Day shift / 12 hrs/wk
