As the Manager of Food Services, you will be pivotal in managing and engaging associates in food and nutrition operations. Your focus will be on ensuring safety and satisfaction for patients, customers, and team members.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Operations: Oversee and coordinate both retail and patient services food operations, ensuring compliance with HACCP, regulatory standards, and quality expectations.
  • Innovative Program Planning: Design and implement programs and activities that exceed patient and customer expectations while adhering to budgetary and quality assurance standards.
  • Tech-Savvy Management: Maintain and update electronic food and nutrition service tools to ensure the highest accuracy and efficiency.
  • Leadership in Recruitment: Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and training of a competent and motivated workforce.
  • Resource Management & Budget Oversight: Control and manage resources and materials to guarantee quality and adequate supply. Plan, control, and monitor budget standards, maintaining expenses and optimizing man-hour utilization.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Conduct annual customer service training for all front and back-of-house associates.
  • Mentorship: Guide and mentor students, shaping the future of food and nutrition services.
  • High-Quality Outcomes: Manage and maintain food service systems that deliver high-quality, high-satisfaction results.
  • Continuous Education: Provide daily huddles, regular in-service training, and ongoing education opportunities for all food and nutrition staff.

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor’s in related field preferred
  • Minimum 4 years relevant experience required, with a minimum of 2 years being in relevant leadership role
  • Strong communication (oral/written), organization, problem-solving, and team-building abilities
  • Must be able to accommodate flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays
