Our client manufactures sweets, savories and ready meals for the aviation catering industry as well as retail, wholesale and food service sectors. Due to expansion, they are looking to recruit a Specification Technologist to join the team at this exciting time.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review and update product specifications
• Request, maintain and complete customer and supplier documentation
• Assist with audits
• Calculate ingredient declarations, allergen information and nutritional values
• Keep up to date with food legislation and industry best practise

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Experience working in a technical role within food manufacturing
• HACCP qualification
• Auditing experience
• Good understanding of food safety, food quality and food legislation
• Good communication skills
• Good IT skills
