A fantastic opportunity to join the Food & Beverage Team at The Connemara Coast Hotel in both Bar & Restaurant.
The successful candidate must be available to work without restrictions midweek and weekends and must be available for variable weekly schedules based on business needs, which may change with short notice.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Food and Beverage Assistant’s key purpose is to ensure that all guests of the hotel receive service of the highest standard. The F&B Assistant also plays a key part in ensuring that the outlet to which they are assigned is at all times safe, hygienic, efficient yet welcoming, and operating within budget. The food and beverage team supports and works in partnership with all other departments, ensuring all standards and guest expectations are consistently met or exceeded.

  • To assist with the setting up of all dining areas.
  • To accurately take orders and requests and communicate these to relevant colleagues in the F&B outlets and Kitchen.
  • To serve Food & Beverages to our customers within our dining rooms, bar and restaurant, outdoor dining, function rooms and lobby areas as well as occasional room service.
  • To collect room service trays and glassware from corridors.
  • To ensure that your work areas are kept clean at all times.
  • To follow all hygiene regulations.
  • To use every opportunity to maximise guest revenue by upselling and needs based selling.
  • To ensure all orders, bills and dockets are accurately recorded and presented to kitchen, guest and colleagues at end of shift.
  • To ensure all orders you’ve taken have been correctly accounted for and paid before completing each shift.
  • To ensure that any ‘open’ cheques or tables are passed over to a colleague before completing your shift.
