Responsibilities
  • To demonstrate the highest standards of food and beverage and hospitality
  • Assist with the receiving and storage of goods
  • Maintain good food safety, hygiene standards and practices
  • Assists with the preparation of a food and beverage outlet for service including:


    • Cleaning of equipment and maintaining glassware and china for service

    • Preparation of service stations and tables
    • Table service and the serving of beverages
    • Recording of replacement stock
    • Billing procedures of items consumed in line with hotel policy
    • Ordering and storage of minibar items
    • Cellar Operations
    • Establish and maintain effective employee working relationships
    • Attend and participate in briefings/meetings as scheduled
    • Demonstrate service attributes in line with industry expectations and company standards to include:
    • Maintain a high level of knowledge, which will enhance the guest experience
    • Demonstrate a service attitude that exceeds expectations
    • Take appropriate action to resolve guest complaints
    • Be able to promote the hotel products and services
    • Demonstrate a good understanding and awareness of all policies and procedures relating to Health, Hygiene and Fire Life Safety
    • Perform other tasks at the level of the role, as directed by your line manager, in pursuit of the achievement of business goals
