Title: Foods Assistant Manager Job Summary- The Food Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the overall operations of the food department, ensuring efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. This position assists the Food Manager in overseeing various aspects of the food service operations, including inventory management, staff supervision, customer service, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. Job Responsibilities Complete familiarity with Park policies, and operating calendar and hours Schedules all Food staff and posts schedule weekly Handles all scheduling requests from Food staff Reviews time for Food employees for accuracy and adherence to park policies Takes weekly inventory and notifies manager of any out of stocks Develops inventory list by location for each Food Lead to monitor daily Assists Food Manager with menu pricing Insures employees can accurately log on to registers Submits inventory ordering needs weekly Verifies all invoices against price lists and purchase orders for accuracy Turns in all invoices to office within 24 hours of receipt Monitors all open locations for adherence to park policy Ensures ongoing training of Food staff in cash handling, food control and equipment usage Experience: High school diploma or GED certificate is required. ServSafe certification a plus Minimum of 3 years food service experience Minimum of 2 years supervision or management experience Physical Requirements: Must be able to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs. consistently. Physical exertion such as frequent bending, twisting, stretching, stooping, and reaching overhead. Standing and walking for long periods on surfaces such as uneven surfaces and hard flooring. Varying work hours extending up to twelve (12) hour workdays under some circumstances. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Display a willingness to learn. Ability to establish priorities, works independently, and proceeds with objectives without supervision. Good communication skills. Mandatory completion of Basic Food Safety & Sanitation Training as provided. Demonstrate the ability to work with associates, guests, and supervision in a positive, productive and professional manner. Work collaboratively in a team setting and independently. Ability to complete daily tasks without constant supervision. Ability to comply with all company, divisional and state laws regarding minor labor laws. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
