As Assistant Manager, you will serve as a key operational leader, partnering with the Director of Operations to ensure Stonehaus consistently delivers outstanding service, flawless execution, and a culture of excellence. You will directly lead and inspire a team of 25–30 front-of-house professionals. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who balances business acumen with a passion for service. Leadership & Team Development (50%) Recruit, train, coach, and develop high-performing FOH teams Create a culture of accountability, hospitality, and excellence Conduct performance evaluations and ongoing coaching conversations Lead pre-shift meetings that inspire and align the team Guest Experience & Brand Presence (15%) Be a visible, hands-on leader on the floor Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and grace Build strong relationships with guests, VIPs, and group clients Uphold and elevate Stonehaus’ reputation for exceptional hospitality Food & Beverage Excellence (15%) Maintain expert knowledge of all food and beverage offerings Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and service standards Enforce compliance with all local, state, and federal alcohol and food safety regulations Operational & Financial Performance (10%) Manage labor budgets and scheduling strategically Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost controls Protect revenue through strong cash handling and operational discipline Facility & Standards Oversight (5%) Monitor cleanliness, maintenance, and physical condition of the outlet Proactively identify and recommend improvements Team Collaboration (5%) Partner seamlessly with culinary, events, and operations teams Contribute positively to the overall culture and success of Stonehaus Requirements What Sets You Apart 5-7+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume food & beverage environment Proven ability to lead and motivate teams of 20+ employees Strong financial acumen (labor, cost control, inventory management) Passion for delivering elevated guest experiences Calm, confident decision-maker under pressure Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) Hands-on leader who isn’t afraid to jump in when needed Schedule & Expectations 8–10 hour shifts Evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands Full-time, exempt position Physical Requirements Prolonged standing, walking, and active floor presence Manual dexterity for service operations Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
