This role is eligible for the Campus Services New Starter Bonus* (£1,000) and Campus Services Refer a Friend bonus*.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The University Hospitality Department provides catering to students, staff and external customers throughout the academic year and during the summer months. There are numerous outlets run by the Hospitality Department offering a range of food and drink options.
We’re currently recruiting three Food & Beverage Assistants to join our team in Food Direct, our dedicated hospitality delivery service. This is a physical and, at times, fast-paced role that involves preparing, delivering, and setting up catering orders across campus. You’ll also collect and return equipment and supplies to the Food Direct base. Occasionally, you’ll support events by serving food and drink.
While Food Direct will be your primary area, you’ll also work across other west hospitality food outlets, where you’ll take customer orders, operate tills, prepare and serve food and drink, restock stations, and help maintain clean and tidy catering areas.
The role includes early morning, evening and weekend working on a 5 out of 7 days per week contract (25 hours per week). The weekly shift pattern consists of straight shifts only, no split shifts.
This role is also eligible for the Campus Services Refer a Friend bonus*. If a University staff member has ‘referred’ you to apply for this vacancy they may be eligible for a bonus. Please ensure when applying you select ‘Campus Services Employee Referral’ when answering the question ‘Where did you learn of this job?’ and email campusserviceshr@bath.ac.uk the name of the person who referred you.
