Shangri-La Sydney is looking for skilled and experienced Food & Beverage Attendants to join the Banquets Service teams of Shangri-La Sydney.

Responsibilities

The Service Associate – Food & Beverage Attendant - Banquets and Events, under the guidance and supervision of the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage/Service Manager and Service Leaders, is responsible for providing courteous and efficient Food and Beverage service at functions

organised at the Hotel.

  • As a member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring full mise-en-place is prepared prior to start of operations and replenished afterwards.
  • You will oversee the pass, which includes ensuring dishes are delivered in a timely manner to the right table.
  • Ensure smooth operations of the sections and you are knowledgeable and up to date with the menu.
  • Collects requisitioned food and beverage items from the store rooms and checks accuracy of the order quantities and expiry dates.
  • Maintains cleanliness of function equipment, service stations and banquet benches and surfaces.
  • Serves food and beverage according to Banquet Service standards for the specific function.
  • Any other duties as requested by the Service Manager, Supervisor or Director of Food and Beverage
