Description Title Food & Beverage Attendant Department Food & Beverage FLSA Status: Non Exempt Position Status: Part Time / Full Time In the performance of their respective tasks and duties all employees are expected to conform to the following: Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision. Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers. Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments. Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations. Maintain strict privileged, proprietary, guest, and employer confidentiality during and beyond the term of my employment. Adhere to all work rules, policies & procedures, and safety standards. Position purpose To provide friendly and efficient food service to guests. Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks Check pantry to ensure adequate supply of seasonings and food items. Report any inventory shortages to the Grill Supervisor. Prepare sauces, garnishes, and side dish items before they are needed. Prepare short order food items when they are ordered. Become familiar with preparing and pricing all menu items. Accept payment, make change, and operate point of sale system to record and track sales. Provide courteous, accurate, and efficient guest services. Follow all food safety ordinances and regulations. Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. Monitor equipment and report any maintenance concerns as needed. Breakdown workstation and restock items for next shift. Obtain and maintain food handler’s permit, and gaming license. Comply with tip reporting procedures and Title 31 requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous grill cook experience in a fast paced or high volume establishment preferred. Must be at least 18 years. Special Position Requirements: Requires Food Handler’s Permit Requires Gaming License Work Requirements Requires problem solving skills, ability to communicate effectively, and, operate point of sale system. Position involves prolonged standing or walking, stooping or bending, lifting, or carrying up to 50 pounds on a daily basis. Work is performed in a casino environment with varying levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and / or temperature.
