Job DetailsJob Location: FISHKILL, NY 12524Salary Range: $16.50 - $16.50 HourlyGENERAL PURPOSE SplashDown Beach, America’s Biggest Little Water Park located in Fishkill, NY, is seeking a Food & Beverage Attendant. The ideal candidate must be able to work efficiently in a fast paced food stand, taking food orders for an average of 2000+ guests a day. Seeking a strong team player who works in conjunction and cohesively with others and under the direction of the Food & Beverage Director. Minimum Age Requirement: 16 Years Old This is a seasonal position beginning as early as Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Department Training and Orientation must be attended prior to starting. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Take accurate guest orders in a timely and hospitable manner Accurately handle cash and credit card transactions Prepare components of each order (beverages, condiments, etc.) Memorize ingredients in menu items to accurately relay any allergy concern to our guests Ensure that all front of the house areas exceed sanitation standards Collaborate with team to prep to restaurant for next day Constantly monitor Guest Experience by soliciting feedback Qualifications Several years demonstrated leadership skills within a fast paced environment Demonstrated cash handling skills Strong hospitality skill-set and impeccable sanitation and safety standards Ability to work on your feet throughout the day and lift 50 pounds at a time on a regular basis Strong work ethic, adept at multitasking, and a true team player Must be able to effectively communicate and understand English Flexible Schedule; must be available a minimum of 5 days a week, prepared to work weekends and holidays
