Monday – Friday: $24.95
Saturday: $31.19
Sunday: $37.43
Avani Melbourne Jazz Corner Residences is currently seeking several passionate Food and Beverage Assistants to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you’ll be part of a close-knit team providing high-quality service across breakfast, room service, bar, and live music events. Whether you’re setting the tone with a warm welcome or delivering food and drinks with style, you’ll help create memorable moments for every guest.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in food and beverage or hospitality roles (preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  • A genuine passion for customer service and hospitality.
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
  • A current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate.
  • Availability across a rotating roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver warm, professional service in the café, room service, bar, and event settings.
  • Take and serve accurate food and beverage orders efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and well-presented work and dining environment.
  • Assist in setup and pack-down of service areas, including event spaces.
  • Comply with food safety, hygiene, and service standards.
  • Address guest needs and resolve issues with care and professionalism.
