Strahan is a small town and working port that serves as the gateway to the stunning UNESCO Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area. Located approximately 4.5 hours from Hobart or Launceston, Strahan Village is located in the heart of Strahan and offers an abundance of character and unique stories of the area’s pioneering history. Job Description

• Ensure our guests have a great food and beverage experience and make holiday memories
• Staff accommodation and meals package available

We’re hiring multiple casual team members to join us at the start of September and at the start of November, just ahead of a busy summer season. We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals to help us deliver the outstanding service we’re known for. You’ll ideally be able to commit to at least six months, including availability over the festive Christmas and New Year period.

We’re on the lookout for:

• Experienced Bartenders with a passion for premium service
• Wait Staff who thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Baristas who can juggle multiple coffee orders at once

You may work in a variety of our food and beverage outlets, Hamer’s Bar & Bistro and The Kitchen Cafe, providing exceptional service with a warm welcome. You’ll treat our guests and customers as individuals, offering tailored options and solutions with a resilient and can-do attitude. On a daily basis you will:

• Undertake general waiting and service duties of food and beverages.
• Ensure accurate processing of dockets, including cashiering duties.
• Setup and reset restaurants and specific conference & function activities as required.
