We’re hiring multiple casual team members to join us at the start of September for the busy summer season. We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals to help us deliver the outstanding service we’re known for. You’ll ideally be able to commit to at least six months, including availability over the festive Christmas and New Year period.

We’re on the lookout for:

  • Experienced Bartenders with a passion for premium service
  • Wait Staff with experience in events, functions and banquets
  • Baristas who can juggle multiple coffee orders at once

Responsibilities

You may work in a variety of our food and beverage outlets, however you will mainly work from View 42 Restaurant and Lounge Bar. View 42 Restaurant serves a hearty breakfast buffet and its renowned carvery dinner buffet, making it a popular choice for tour groups and large bookings. During peak times, you’ll need to multitask efficiently and manage a high volume of guests within tight timeframes.

The Lounge Bar offers a premium experience, featuring contemporary cocktails and a curated selection of Tasmanian wines. Guests can enjoy a light menu while taking in one of the most breathtaking views on Tasmania’s West Coast. The lounge’s inviting wood fire creates the perfect setting to relax with pre-dinner drinks. You’ll treat our guests and customers as individuals, offering tailored options and solutions with a resilient and can-do attitude. On a daily basis you will:

  • Undertake general waiting and service duties of food and beverages.
  • Ensure accurate processing of dockets, including cashiering duties.
  • Setup and reset restaurants and specific conference & function activities as required.
  • Ensure the venue and buffet are consistently maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
