Job Description Reporting to the Director, Food & Beverage, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service Handling all Office work for the F&B Department. Promptly replying to all correspondence without constant supervision. Coordination with all F&B Managers for various meetings Coordination/follow-ups with departments on daily complaints, night reports, requisitions, cheques etc. Responsible for taking minutes of the meeting Responsible to collate information and provide to the Director, F&B when requested. To co-ordinate with all F&B venues for the smooth functioning of the organization. Locate and attach appropriate files to incoming correspondence requiring replies. Take and distribute meeting minutes to appropriate individuals. Handle and distribute incoming and outgoing mail. Handle incoming parcels and other material. Create and maintain computer and paper-based filing and organization. Prepare letters, memos, and other documents using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software. Operate standard office equipment other than computers such as telephone, typewriter, fax, photocopier, calculator, and electronic peripherals. Prepare and manage correspondence, reports and documents Coordinate the flow of information both internally and externally. In addition to the above functions, any other assignment/job given by the superior authority occasionally or on a daily basis is to be performed. Responsible for collecting, compiling, tracing, answering and follow up of all in/out internal and external correspondence. Assists with other responsibilities and duties in the absence of a team members or other tasks assigned by the manager. Follows all policies and procedures ascertained by the hotel. Consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow Colleagues Qualifications Strong business communication skills Previous experience in a Food & Beverage / Kitchen environment Must be highly Health & Safety conscience and actively involved in maintaining a safe work environment Additional Information Experience is an asset Prior experience working with Opera or a related system Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus Job-Category: Food & Beverage Job Type: Permanent Job Schedule: Full-Time
