F&B COORDINATOR
Nottingham
£28,000 per annum
Full Time, 40 hours per week
The National Ice Centre & Motorpoint Arena Nottingham (NIC) has a diverse customer base, from the casual ice skater, the resident ice hockey team, (The Nottingham Panthers), who play most week through the winter season, to the concert goers visiting to see their favourite sporting, comedy or music events.
National Catering, a division of the NIC offers food & beverage options from our concourse retail outlets, onsite cafes, Saltbox bar, the Green Room and Spotlight restaurant. In addition, we provide catering to our conference and events and hospitality guests. We offer everything from working lunches, café style meals and snacks, pub food to fine dining.

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious F&B Coordinator to help the F&B team create exceptional food experiences.
Working with the F&B Operations Manager the F&B Coordinator will ensure smooth operations across, Saltbox Bar, Encore and Arena events. Optimising sales, profitability and customer satisfaction whilst maintaining high standards in relation to Health & Safety, Food Safety, Challenge 21 and licencing regulations.
You will be providing support to all F&B outlets and the kitchen team as needed, contributing to best practice and ensuring that SOPs are in place.
Managing all staff within the F&B outlets you will be responsible for rostering and timesheet management, training and welfare.
Driving sales and promotions within our outlets you will ensure that all schedules (e.g. opening, closing and cleaning) are adhered to and that stock is managed effectively, and wastage is kept to a minimum.
With excellent communication skills both written and oral you will have the ability to work flexibly to suit the needs of our business, this may include late nights, weekends and bank holidays on occasion.
Having a qualification in Cellar Management would be an advantage as would a Personal Licence and Food Safety Level 3.
With experience in a similar role you will have a thorough understanding of the importance of leading with a customer focused attitude.
You will have previously worked within retail or hospitality with experience of using a till, handling floats and dealing with cash discrepancies.
