Description Position Overview: A Food and Beverage Coordinator operates as a manager within the food & beverage department assisting with the daily operations of multiple Food and Beverage outlets at Typhoon Texas Austin, ensuring each outlet runs efficiently and in alignment with Typhoon Texas standards and values. This is a seasonal manager role that is responsible for the effective management of labor, productivity, and ensuring compliance with all safety and relevant regulatory requirements. Additional responsibilities include assisting with ordering and inventory, maintaining cleanliness standards, and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate fosters a culture of leadership by mentoring both leadership and team members, consistently seeking opportunities to improve guest service and implement best practices across all levels. Coordinators must have a passion for developing and retaining top talent to deliver Good-Clean-Fun every day. Position Responsibilities: Responsible for the overall operation of multiple Food & Beverage outlets as assigned. Collaborate with departmental leadership to ensure efficient operations of assigned outlets and ensure all outlets operate within established Typhoon Texas and departmental standards. Provide excellent customer service and effectively de-escalate guest concerns when needed. Ensure team members are properly assigned and completing daily checklists and cleaning tasks, as well as weekly deep cleaning and organizational duties. Complete daily and weekly restocking and cleaning tasks assigned by departmental management. Ensure each outlet's exterior areas, interior workstations, equipment, floors, windows, carts, coolers, freezers and any other supplies used are clean, organized, and properly sanitized in compliance with health department and Typhoon Texas standards. Responsible for scheduling Team Members and leadership, including generating, reviewing, and publishing schedules in compliance with labor laws and budget guidelines. Ensure all team member schedules comply with applicable labor laws. Review daily schedules in advance with the Revenue Admin and address any scheduling concerns caused by call-ins, scheduling errors, or projected attendance fluctuations. Verify and approve timecards for assigned team members. Responsible for completing the inventory process for the assigned outlets on a weekly and monthly basis. Assist warehouse with Food & Beverage deliveries, following all Typhoon Texas receiving requirements. Assist warehouse with safely transporting materials in accordance with Typhoon Texas procedures. Conduct pre-season and mid-season training in collaboration with leadership to ensure all team members receive accurate, up-to-date information. Revise as necessary. Provide timely feedback to management regarding team performance and potential issues. Assist with ordering and inventory control, including counting, portioning, rotation, waste management, and adherence to recipe standards to control the cost of goods. Ensure all health and safety laws and regulations are followed. Conduct regular audits and ensure all team members follow Typhoon Texas and departmental procedures. Follow and enforce all Pyek Group and Typhoon Texas policies and procedures, including documenting and enforcing disciplinary actions as needed. Work with departmental leadership to support efficient Food & Beverage operations, team development, and team member growth. Solicit feedback from guests and team members and follow up on concerns appropriately. Maintain knowledge of all food and beverage items available for purchase and assemble items as needed. Proactively identify operational and equipment issues and collaborate to implement solutions including the monitoring and troubleshooting of equipment functionality and report issues promptly. Maintain knowledge of point-of-sale systems, recipes, and relevant labor, health, and food service laws and regulations. Embody Typhoon Texas’s moment making keys of intentionality, Texas-friendliness, safety, cleanliness, and fun throughout all departments. Assist with other responsibilities, roles, departments, or park locations as assigned. Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older. Must have or obtain a valid Food Handler’s permit and TABC certification. [BC1] Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. May be required to lift 25—50 lbs. May be required to work in various weather conditions, such as direct sunlight, high temperatures, or rain. Must be able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and perform responsibilities accurately with minimal supervision. Must be able to maintain confidentiality of private company and employee information. Must be able to multitask and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to communicate in a positive and professional manner and work well with others.
