  • You must have previous F&B experience, ideally within a hotel or similar setting
  • Please note: This role will require occasional sleepovers depending on business needs.
  • You may currently be working as an F&B Supervisor and feel ready for a first step into a management role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example
  • Comfortable working a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends.
  • Preferably trained in first aid.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Langley Castel Hotel is an award winning 4* hotel situated in Northumberland.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Food & Beverage Duty Manager to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual currently working in a Supervisor role who is ready to take the next step into management.
As a Duty Manager, you will act as the senior point of contact in the absence of the F&B Manager or Assistant Manager, overseeing daily operations across all food and beverage outlets. You’ll ensure high service standards are consistently delivered, lead and support the F&B team on shift, and help drive service excellence across the department.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Take ownership of the F&B department during designated shifts
  • Lead and support the team to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Ensure smooth daily operations across bars, restaurants, and events
  • Handle guest queries or complaints in a professional and proactive manner
  • Maintain compliance with health & safety and food hygiene standards
  • Support with training and mentoring of junior team members
  • Work closely with senior managers to support departmental goals
