SUMMARY:  This position includes answering the telephone, responding to questions, processing to-go orders, greeting and seating patrons as well as collecting and processing payment/s. We are seeking energetic Team Members who exhibit a genuine spirit of Hospitality and strive to provide a warm and lasting impression on our guests.     ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES ASSIGNED:  * Maintains clean and sanitary work area/s * Practice and Promote all applicable food service health and safety regulations. * Promptly greet guests, seat them and promote Daily Specials * Answer telephone professionally and courteously * Notify supervisor of product shortages * Process Togo Orders * Coordinate with Shift Supervisor regarding seating and table utilization * Assist Servers as needed with food delivery and/or re-fills * Collaborate with FOH and BOH TEAM to ensure a high-quality guest experience * Complete side-work as assigned * Accurately operates POS System as required * Accepts and posts payments with special attention paid to accurately transacting Tier Resort Benefit Card discounts for our Players * Inspect and Test currency to avoid accepting counterfeit bills * Other duties as assigned     QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to multi-task and exhibit flexibility with schedule. Must have intermediate knowledge of the restaurant business and service techniques. Applicant must obtain training on food safety and responsible beverage service of the Casino’s choosing. Must pass initial drug screening, background investigation, random drug tests and credit check.   LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the casino and hotel.   MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.   Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret bar graphs.   REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.   PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to talk and hear.  The individual is also regularly required to bend; stand; walk; sit; and use hand/eye coordination. The Individual must be able to lift at least 75 pounds. The individual may be required to stand for 8 hours.   Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.   WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. When on the Casino floor, the noise level increases too loud. The Casino is a smoking environment, and the team member must be able to work in a smoke-filled atmosphere.
