POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for leading and executing exceptional dining and hospitality experiences that reflect the relaxed mountain setting and high standards of Crowsnest Pass Golf Club. This individual will oversee all clubhouse food and beverage operations, including event service, seasonal menus, staffing, cost control, and guest satisfaction. Working in alignment with the club’s mission, vision, and values, this role will support strategic planning and daily execution to ensure memorable guest and member experiences.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of experience in food and beverage or hospitality management (golf club or resort setting preferred).
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of seasonal menu planning and cost control.
  • Understanding of hospitality service standards and guest experience best practices.
  • Proficiency with POS systems, basic Excel, and inventory software.
  • Valid ProServe certification and Food Safety Training (or ability to obtain).
Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the food and beverage service, including dining room, lounge, and event spaces.
  • Lead seasonal menu planning, feature nights, and lounge offerings in collaboration with the Executive Chef.
  • Ensure exceptional service standards across all member and public dining experiences.
  • Support execution of weekly events (e.g., Prime Rib Fridays, BBQ Smokehouse Nights, Pasta Nights) and seasonal functions.
  • Maintain accurate inventory, ordering, and supply chain processes for all food and beverage needs.
  • Develop schedules, assign responsibilities, and oversee training of front-of-house team members.
  • Monitor and manage food and beverage costs, pricing strategies, and portion control.
  • Ensure compliance with AHS health and safety regulations and responsible liquor service policies.
  • Support a positive, motivated team culture aligned with the club’s mission and values.
  • Collaborate with the Hospitality Director on budgets, strategy, and operational goals.
