ABOUT THE CLUB

Six Lakes Country Club is seeking an experienced, motived and results-driven F&B Manager for its Cooperative Manufactured Home Community located in North Ft. Myers, FL. Six Lakes consists of a fully developed Manufactured Home Community with 594 units- a very active community with full participation at events.
The Club is looking for an exceptional leader with hands-on leadership responsible for overseeing the Wedge operational, administrative, training, financials (inventories) of the restaurant.
Physical Demands and Work Environment – Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and lift 40 pounds. Must be able to handle hot and cold interior and outdoor conditions, public speaking at events is encouraged
Employment Eligibility – All persons are required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete a background check and pass a drug test

Responsibilities

Responsible for the daily operation and supervision of the Sand Wedge under supervision of and reporting solely to the General Manager

  • Possess a Certified Food Service Manager’s license as required by the State of Florida. Maintain Health Department standards for all food services areas.
  • Works in conjunction and coordinates with the Executive Chef.
  • Test and train employees for food handler certification as required by the State and Local authorities.
  • Prepare work schedule for all Sand Wedge employees.
  • Order and maintain inventory of all food, beverage, and supplies for the Sand Wedge.
  • Create specials and events for Member participation to increase sales.
  • Work with Member committees to provide food service for special member functions.
  • Implement, update, and enforce safety program for employees.
  • Assist in establishing the Sand Wedge budget, wages, and food prices.
  • Approve timecards for all Sand Wedge employees.
  • Prepare daily sales report and reconcile all transactions before submitting reports to Accounting office.
  • Prepare annual written evaluation for each Sand Wedge employee; recommend the hiring and dismissal of said employees.
  • Responsible for the proper maintenance and repair of all equipment at the Sand Wedge.
  • Utilize the computerized Point of Sale system to dispense member charges or credit card transactions.
  • Train all Sand Wedge Personnel in proper use of computerized Jonas POS system, including, opening, closing, member charges and credit card transactions.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by the General Manager to assist in the efficient operation of the Sand Wedge.
