Stamford Plaza Melbourne is a five-star luxury hotel located at the ‘Paris end’ of Little Collins Street in the heart of the shopping & theatre district and we are now seeking a Food & Beverage Manager to join and lead our F&B team.

About the role
Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for all leading and mentoring our F&B team across the restaurant, bar & banqueting.
You will have excellent communication skills and attention to detail in written, over the phone and in person communications.
You will have a passion for providing 5 star service that our guests expect from our Stamford Hotels.
In this hands-on role, you will be a dynamic team player with excellent communication skills and the drive to make a difference.
achievement of the food and beverage budget for all F&B outlets (restaurant, bar, banquets and room service)
develop and train staff on F&B standard operating procedures to maintain a high standard of service
overseeing the operations of banqueting
ensuring staff are well versed with the current menu and promotional offers
ensuring staff upsell food and beverage items
empowering staff to deliver exceptional customer service
managing, coaching and mentoring a team of food and beverage attendants
maintaining cleanliness standards in outlets including knowledge of food handling and hygiene
handling guest complaints with confidence and in a professional manner
