The Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites Conference Centre & Spa is seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual to join our Food & Beverage Team. The Hilton Toronto/Markham is a full-service property seeking a vibrant and dedicated Food & Beverage Supervisor (Main Restaurant, Room Service/Mini Bars and Lounge).

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Two years previous Food & Beverage leadership experience in a comparable unionized hotel environment preferred
  • Post-Secondary school diploma/certificate major in hospitality dedicated to providing excellent guest/customer service
  • Excellent communication and people skills with the ability to lead & motivate others
  • Knowledge of food, wine, spirits, and an understanding of culinary terms
  • Smart Serve certification is required
  • Flexible schedule (AM, PM, weekends and holidays)
  • Enthusiastic customer service attitude with attention to detail

Responsibilities
  • Ensures high level of customer service standards throughout the outlets & service teams, ensuring guest satisfaction and maximizing revenues.
  • Assists with the development, implementation and follow up of menus, marketing promotions, service delivery, and team incentives etc.
  • Assists in constantly seeking creative ways to improve service and increase overall F&B revenues and profitability.
  • Successful problem solver for both guests/customers and colleagues concerns.
  • Assists in recruiting, training, developing, scheduling and supervising of F&B service staff.
  • Provides strong leadership through positive reinforcement, training, and coaching.
  • Assists with managing labour expenses within productivity guidelines.
  • Leads a team of dedicated professionals to ensure the highest quality experience is provided to guests/customers.
