The ambassador should an eye for detail, a passion for creating magnifique luxury experience for our guests and developing a wonderful team. Job Description Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour is looking for a Full time permanent (40 hours per week) experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor for our distinguished outlets. In this role, you will surpass your own expectations as well as those of our guests. We will encourage you to explore innovative ways to enhance every guest experience, as you continue to master your craft. When you help us to achieve pioneering heights in luxury hospitality, your own excellence will shine through. A Career that lets your passion shine, in this role you will; Supervise the multi outlet operations of Food & Beverage department, including our Restaurant & Bar, Conference, Club lounge, Minibar and In-Room Dining Lead, train, and motivate Food & Beverage ambassadors to ensure exceptional 5 star luxury service standards Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction by acting proactively, and promptly addressing any concerns or special requests Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure menu items are delivered according to hotel standards Monitor inventory levels, assist in placing orders and stock control Promote campaigns and events to drive revenue and increase capture Conduct analysis of departmental training needs, prepare and deliver training to both groups and individuals Host team briefings and meetings to communicate department performance feedback and strategies Qualifications Minimum 3 years’ experience in Food & Beverage with proven experience leading a team (preferred) Emotional intelligence and a demonstrated understanding of luxury Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to positively influence others Demonstrated leadership and team working skills, and able to manage schedules Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment, and resolve guest feedback Knowledge of health and safety regulations food handling best practices Understanding of food and beverage operations, inventory and ordering A passion for Food & Beverage with the drive to excel your career Barista experience (preferred) Additional Information Benefits: Free staff meal provided during shift Annual reward of a free night's accommodation at the hotel (did we say there is breakfast and dinner included?)
