Job Summary:
We are seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our food and beverage department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, strong leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail. As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a team of food and beverage staff, ensuring efficient service, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the food and beverage team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
  • Train and mentor staff on food and beverage service standards, customer service, and safety protocols
  • Monitor the quality of food and beverage service, addressing any issues or concerns promptly
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards in all food and beverage areas
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of food and beverage services for events and functions
  • Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor costs to ensure optimal efficiency and profitability
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Assist in the development and implementation of food and beverage policies, procedures, and initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry
  • Extensive knowledge of food and beverage operations, including preparation, presentation, and service
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for delivering a memorable dining experience
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations with professionalism
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Proficiency in computer software applications related to food and beverage management

TIPS Certification and Safe Serve certifications requied within 90 days of hire.
