As we continue to welcome guests to the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, we have an opportunity for a passionate and hands-on Full Time Food & Beverage Supervisor to support our dedicated Food and Beverage Team and work across our busy outlets & event spaces. The roster for this role will work across Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will be a friendly and welcoming self-motivated person who can genuinely lead a team; you will have a sense of fun, being able to supervise, motivate and inspire all team members to provide outstanding efficient, safe and memorable guest service. Other key skills and qualifications we are looking for include:

  • Previous Food & Beverage Supervisory experience and knowledge of cash control, food service, food safety, general WHS requirements and complaint handling
  • Experience with team training & writing SOPs to ensure best customer service is delivered
  • Experience with Conference/ Event service including weddings will be highly regarded
  • You will be an excellent problem solver, can demonstrate a flexible, cooperative attitude
  • Be prepared to work in an outdoor environment, in all weathers, in a role that requires substantial walking in a workplace that contains animals including birds and reptiles
  • Hold current Queensland RSA, Barista skills and Food Safety Certificate
  • Flexible and availability to work across weekends
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Operations Manager, in this hands-on role, you will lead, coach and motivate your team to ensure we deliver professional, efficient and memorable guest service. As an experienced F&B superstar, you will lead by example to ensure the team deliver efficient and friendly daily F&B service with a focus on cleanliness, food safety, WH&S and service standards.
As our Food & Beverage Supervisor, we will support you in driving the team in this fast-paced environment, assisting with core service duties such as food and coffee service & opening and closing of the Outlet/s. You will also work with the leadership team on managing rosters, inventory management and ordering, as well as supporting the team to drive revenue and profit.
This role is designed with career progression in mind. We are committed to providing support, training, and mentorship.
