Your day to day As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will play a key role in creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests while supporting the daily operations of our restaurant and In Room Dining services. Leading by example, you will ensure service standards are consistently delivered, team members are supported and developed, and every guest interaction reflects the luxury and hospitality standards of InterContinental Melbourne the Rialto. The day-to-day role includes supervising service periods, coordinating team activities, delivering daily briefings, assisting with training and development, and ensuring all food and beverage outlets are prepared and presented to the highest standard. You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager and wider Food & Beverage team to drive guest satisfaction, maximise revenue opportunities through upselling, manage guest enquiries and feedback, and maintain compliance with all health, safety, and responsible service requirements. You will also support stock control processes, monitor service quality, assist with rostering and team engagement initiatives, and help foster a positive and collaborative team culture. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading from the floor, building strong relationships with guests and colleagues, and delivering memorable experiences in a luxury hotel environment.
