Position Summary:
Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager, the Food and Beverage Supervisor will lead each shift, guiding and supporting their team members to create Perfectly Precise experiences, representing AC Hotel and its values. Our ideal candidate holds relevant Food and Beverage experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel environment and has a growth mindset towards their career. You will also have a strong and bubbly personality to complement the positive experiences our F&B team strive to deliver towards our customers!

Some duties of the F&B Supervisor include (but are not limited to):

  • Act as the ‘host’ of the restaurant service period, either breakfast or dinner, tending to all in-house and external customers
  • Assist our F&B Attendants as required, between our restaurant, bar and banquet operational tasks
  • Supervise the food and beverage team in completing on-shift checklists, as well as complaint handling and conflict resolution matters as they arise
  • Provide training to your team members on operational tasks, menu items, as well as promotional offers
  • Assist the F&B Management team with rostering, shift management, leave requests, and recruitment as required

About You:

  • Positive and eager attitude to grow in your F&B career
  • Relevant experience in a supervisory, or team leader role, within hotels
  • Micros or Infrasys POS knowledge desirable
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office including Excel & Word (for reporting)
  • Ability to conduct training sessions for team members
  • Current working rights in Australia
  • Able to commit to 4 shifts per week, including weekends, on a rotating roster
  • Prior exposure to rostering and shift management
