Job Description
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Services Manager, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring and motivating your team, ensuring they deliver professional, efficient and friendly service to our guests. You will be assisting the Food & Beverage operations team with the day-to-day operations in the restaurant and conferencing/events.

Your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supervise Food and Beverage outlet operations
  • Communicate and delegate tasks to the team
  • Ensure compliance of brand standards
  • Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Represent needs of the team
  • Assist Food and Beverage management with achieving financial targets
  • Assist Food and Beverage management with training and development of team members
  • Comply with Hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Passion for customer service
  • Supervisory experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience in leading and motivating a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills both with internal and external customers
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Be available to work a minimum of 38 hours per week across a variety of shifts
  • Holds a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) in QLD
