Company Description
With properties in some of Australia’s most iconic locations, NRMA Parks & Resorts provides accommodation that suits every budget and style – from campsites to luxury resorts. From Tropical North Queensland to the remote Tasmanian wilderness, we connect holidaymakers with incredible natural destinations that offer more than a change of scenery.
Owned by the NRMA Group, we have a large team across our holiday parks, resorts and support office who love what they do, all working together to make holiday magic. Because creating unforgettable holidays is not just our job – it’s in our nature.
Pumphouse Point is a unique adults-only retreat poised mysteriously on Lake St Clair and surrounded by century-old myrtle forests. Located approximately 2.5 hours from Hobart and Launceston the property consists of 18 rooms across two heritage industrial buildings gently transformed as an intimate retreat in the heart of World Heritage wilderness. It’s a place to side-step daily life and connect with others in some of the most spectacular landscape on the planet.
Job Description
KNOW YOU BELONG:
At NRMA Parks and Resorts we’re for inclusion, diversity, and representing the members, guests, customers, and communities we serve. That’s why we welcome applications from First Nations Australians, people with disability, those from diverse cultural backgrounds, people of all genders, members of the LGBTQI+ community, and anyone else who wants to be part of our team.
While we continue to commit to an inclusive, equitable and diverse workplace we are proud of our key achievements to date:
We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Pumphouse Point on a full-time basis. You’ll be working to enhance the food & beverage experience for our guests. You’ll support your Team to ensure the day-to-day operation is of the highest standard.
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the Highland buffet breakfast, in-room larder picnic style lunch and three course dinners hosted in the dining room. You’ll look for opportunities to enhance the guest experience through showcasing local Tasmanian product and upskilling your Team.
You will curate and manage a range of specialised tasting events and experiences for our guests, including wine, cocktail, and whiskey tastings. A keen interest and extensive knowledge in this field are essential!
