JOB DESCRIPTION

Under the guidance of the Food & Beverage Manager, the Food & Beverage Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of the bar, restaurant, and café operations run smoothly and in accordance with the policies, procedures, and goals of Wellings. The Food & Beverage Supervisor will work with the Food & Beverage Manager to ensure continuous improvement of member satisfaction, profitability, team morale, and excellence in execution.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to work in a caring and considerate manner.
  • Have a minimum of five years previous restaurant experience.
  • Must be able to perform in a high energy, positive and ever-changing work environment.
  • Ability to maintain composure during possible emergency situations.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to support, practice and deliver to the Wellings Residents 100% of the time.
  • Must demonstrate high standards of ethics and personal accountability.
  • Must demonstrate ability to lead, motivate, and help other team members develop in their role.
  • Must be available evenings & weekends, and have flexible availability.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Continuous combination of standing and walking is necessary.
  • Limited lifting, lowering, and/or carrying up to fifty (50) pounds or less.
  • Frequent bending, twisting, and/or reaching/pulling are performed regularly.
  • Frequent grasping and fine manipulation with hands, including hand/wrist flexion/extension and upper‐ body shoulder/elbow use.
  • Limited chemical exposure while performing duties and following WHMIS.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $25.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow all service policies and procedures.
  • Maintain quality control of food & beverage services.
  • Ensure proper sanitation procedures for all restaurant surfaces, equipment, and serve ware.
  • Daily checking in with members to ensure quality of food and service are satisfactory.
  • Monitoring and checking inventory and assisting with ordering when required.
  • Adhering to pertinent health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Resolving member complaints in a professional manner informing your supervisor to ensure 360 management.
  • Checking in with members to ensure quality of food and service.
  • Promote excellent customer service to the team.
  • Assign server sections.
  • Assist with activity planning and execution.

OTHER JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform all work assigned for the agreed‐upon wage, accepting no additional payment or nonperishable gifts from residents, vendors, Management, or others.
  • Meet the assigned work‐hour requirements of the job. Regular attendance is required.
  • Ability to keep all business and operations information confidential as per company policy.
