Job Description
As a Food and Beverage Tour Dining & Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for driving sales and promoting food and beverage offerings in a variety of venues within the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. Your primary focus will be coordinating groups and tour dining experiences at the different outlets and banquet areas of the hotel being the link between our tour directors and venues and banquet leadership. The Food and Beverage Tour Dining & Sales Coordinator also assists Restaurant Manager with promotional collaterals for venues including menu design, development of experiences, promotional events and entertainment.
Competitive Salary: $53,000 - $55,000 gross annually, based on previous experience & education
YOUR SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the food and beverage or hospitality industry.
- 2 years previous experience of dining reservation and/or office administration in an F&B setting will be considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
- Customer-focused mindset with a dedication to providing exceptional service.
- Proficiency in using Sales & Catering Software and Open Table.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft software and menu design softwares such as InDesign.
- Adept at working in a team environment and collaborating with various departments.
- Knowledge of food and beverage products, industry trends, and market dynamics.
- Colleague or Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, sales or marketing or a related field.
- Flexible to work weekends, holidays and evenings as needed.
