JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service while assisting with food preparation and handling. Your ability to manage time effectively and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be essential in ensuring our customers have a delightful dining experience.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, including restaurant experience.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patrons.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety practices is essential.
• Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in the work area.

  Pay: $15.00-$16.50 per hour

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using the POS system, preferably Micros POS.
• Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring high-quality presentation.
• Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for accurate change.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the service area, adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders and address any customer inquiries or concerns.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed.
• Follow all health regulations regarding food handling and preparation.
