JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving food items. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met. Your ability to manage time effectively and handle transactions accurately will contribute to the overall success of our food service operations.

SKILLS

• Proficient in food preparation techniques with a strong understanding of food safety regulations.
• Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred but not required.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patrons.
• Previous experience in the food service industry or restaurant setting is advantageous.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices related to food handling and kitchen operations.

• Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, including Micros POS, for processing customer orders and payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service counter and kitchen area, adhering to sanitation guidelines.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs promptly.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
• Follow food safety protocols during food preparation and handling to ensure a safe dining experience.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
• Prepare and serve milkshakes, bubble teas, waffles, sundaes, and other dessert bar menu items according to brand standards.
