JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth operation at the food service counter. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

SKILLS

  • Experience in food preparation and handling within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus.
  • Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during peak hours.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
  • Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations is essential.
  • Previous experience in the food industry, including serving or cashiering roles, is advantageous.

  • Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for processing customer transactions efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food service area, adhering to food safety guidelines.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or issues to management.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.
