This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our dietary services, focusing on high-quality meal preparation and exceptional food service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to food safety standards.
Customer Service: Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor as they approach the food counter.
Provide menu recommendations and assist customers in making informed choices.
Answer customer questions regarding ingredients, preparation methods, and portion sizes.
Handle customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Order Processing: Accurately take customer orders, ensuring special requests and modifications are noted.
Input orders into the POS (Point of Sale) system and handle payment transactions efficiently.
Ensure orders are prepared correctly and in a timely manner.
Package takeout orders with care and attention to detail.
Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the food counter and service area clean and well-organized.
Monitor and replenish utensils, napkins, and condiments as needed.
Assist in cleaning and sanitizing food service equipment.
Maintain a hygienic and safe working environment.
Food Preparation Support: Assist the kitchen and culinary team in preparing and assembling dishes as required.
Follow established food safety and hygiene standards in food handling.
Team Collaboration: Work in close coordination with the kitchen staff, servers, and other team members to ensure a smooth service flow.
Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure orders are prepared and delivered accurately.
Menu Knowledge: Stay informed about the restaurant’s menu offerings, including daily specials and promotions.
Be able to describe menu items and ingredients to customers.
