You’ll be a self-starter, highly organised, and possess an excellent understanding of food trends and consumer preferences. Your passion for food should be infectious, and your ability to work collaboratively within a creative team will be key to your success.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in recipe writing and development.
  • Demonstrable skills in recipe editing, with a strong understanding of style guides.
  • A portfolio showcasing your food styling abilities.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in styling for video content.
  • Background in social media content creation within a food context.

We’re seeking a talented Food Creative Manager to join our dynamic team on a 3-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of our food content creation, contributing directly to how millions discover and enjoy food through Ocado.com and OcadoLife magazine.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Concepting & Developing: Dream up, develop, and style innovative recipes specifically for our engaging Organic social media assets, ensuring they are visually stunning and delicious.
  • Recipe Curation & Editing: Take charge of editing recipes from M&S and third-party contributors, making sure every dish aligns with our unique in-house style guidelines.
  • Food & Recipe Authority: Act as the go-to food and recipe expert for Ocado.com, providing insights and ensuring accuracy and quality across all our platforms.
  • Content Balance: Play a crucial role in ensuring a fantastic balance of exciting and diverse recipes in each issue of our popular OcadoLife magazine.
  • Trends & Innovation: Write a compelling trends newsletter, keeping our audience informed on the latest culinary shifts.
  • Influencer Collaboration: Work closely with the social team in an advisory capacity, helping to shape engaging influencer recipes.
  • Commercial Support: Assist the commercial team by generating creative ideas for new or hero product ranges, specifically for social and onsite promotion.
