• Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
• Professionalism in customer service
• Accept payment or invoices for items delivered
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Sell products over established routes
• Assemble, install and set-up merchandise/products
• Keep a record of items received and delivered
• Prepare, package and restock goods
• Load and unload goods, sort packages for delivery
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road
• Follow directions and read map
• Use maps and other trip planning aids
• Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems
• Perform administrative tasks
• Pay and receive payments for goods
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including forklift operation and inventory management in freezers and dry storage rooms.
