Newrest are currently looking for a Deputy Food Manager to support the daily operations of our food production department and help ensure the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and efficiency

Responsibilities
  • Supervise meal production in accordance with menus from datasheets, evaluate or control and have to corrections if necessary;
  • Oversee manufacturing techniques (cooking, setting up, training …);
  • Provide datasheets services and report any changes of cycle;
  • Complaints Managing by reporting analysis, actions and their follow up;
  • Respect hygiene and safety rules;
  • Check and ensure the proper implementation of procedures to be followed and the quality of the service provided;
  • Track non-conformities related to hygiene;
  • Inform staff about the importance of the good maintenance of equipment and facilities;
  • Empower staff to the cleanliness of premises and equipment;
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of late afternoon cleaning;
  • Establish needs;
  • Inventory Management;
  • Management of maintenance products;
  • Supervise storage of materials stocks;
  • Establish schedules of employees and determine the need for temporary workers and regular employees;
  • oversee the proper execution of preparations of customer benefits;
  • Lead and manage the team;
  • Ensure proper monitoring of procedures within the department;
  • Liaise between handling service and food service;
  • Ensure the integration and training of new employees
  • Two (2) years of professional experience in a similar position, in the field of logistics, airline catering, administration, or within a company operating in a related sector.
  • Holder of a post-secondary diploma in business administration, logistics, or a related field. Equivalent training combined with relevant experience may also be considered
