Action Church is seeking to hire a part-time food pantry director.
Are you passionate about serving others, building community, and leading with compassion? Action Church is currently seeking a Part-Time Food Pantry Director to oversee our F.A.I.T.H. Food Pantry (Food Assistance in the Home). This is a paid 2-year contract position that offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals and families in need.

About the Role:
The Food Pantry Director will be responsible for managing all aspects of the F.A.I.T.H. Food Pantry ministry—including food inventory, volunteer coordination, and guest care. The right candidate will be a strong leader with a servant’s heart and a desire to see lives impacted by the love of Jesus.

What You’ll Do:
Lead and organize all pantry operations and food distribution.
Coordinate with volunteers, donors, and community partners.
Ensure accurate ordering, record keeping, and inventory tracking.
Provide a warm, welcoming, and Christ-centered environment for every guest.
Work closely with church leadership to fulfill the vision and mission of Action Church.

What We’re Looking For:
A committed Christian with a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Someone with a heart for outreach and meeting practical needs.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. multiple times and work in a variety of weather conditions.
Ability to work in harmony with church members and volunteers.
Must attend and be a member or willing to become a member of Action Church if hired.
Must maintain a spirit of unity, not division or strife.
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Previous ministry or nonprofit experience is a plus.
Familiarity with standard software such as Microsoft Office Suite or Google Docs a plus.
Knowledge and certifications in food safety and best practices a plus. (Must be able to obtain ServSafe Certification)
Must be willing to undergo a background check.
