SKILLS:

  • Experience and minimal techniques in the food lab are required
  • Experience in food product development a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional groups.
  • Bilingual in Korean preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently enrolled in a senior year or recently graduated from a Food Science, Nutrition or related program (Undergraduate or Graduate level).
  • No prior work experience required - students and gap-year students are welcomed.
  • Able to commit at least 3 months (flexible hours available).
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).
  • This position is fully onsite at our Fullerton location. Remote or hybrid work is not available for this position.

Responsibilities
  • Support Food Scientists in product development, testing, and evaluation.
  • Assist with sample preparation, ingredient measurements, and lab organization.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in lab and test kitchen environments.
  • Assist in documentation of research findings and technical reports.
  • Participate in team meetings and provide input during product trials.
  • Minimal travel (1–2 short trips) may be required during the commit period.
