Our staff are an extension of our family and take pride in making and selling our traditional Cornish comfort food to the masses..

Working as part of our well established pasty production team at our flagship bakery in Hayle to produce Cornish Pasties and a variety of baked goods.
Being a savouries production assistant includes making our meat patties, bacon bites, sausage rolls and many of our other savouries. The job involves traying up the savouries, cleaning and any other reasonable duties to help with the savoury production.
This role will involve lifting full trays of savouries and other manual tasks.
- Permanent position
- Probationary pay £11.50 Raising to £12 per hour after successful probationary period
- paid fortnightly
- uniform and full training provided (previous experience not required)
- 30 minute paid breaks
- 50% discount on Philp’s and ICED on the Quay products
- shift example 6am-1pm Mon - Fri so 35 hours per week.
and in the summer there will be more hours available.
- you will be trained to level 2 in food safety and sit an allergen awareness course.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: £11.50-£12.00 per hour
