JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Food Production Assistant to join our team. This role involves supporting various food production activities, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality, and helping to meet production goals efficiently and safely.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in food production or food service is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on food safety.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and production of food products according to company guidelines.
  • Operate and maintain food production machinery and equipment.
  • Ensure food safety standards are met, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
  • Assist in the assembly and packaging of food products for distribution.
  • Monitor and track inventory, ensuring that supplies are stocked appropriately.
  • Maintain cleanliness of production areas, including sanitising surfaces, equipment, and utensils.
  • Follow food production schedules and assist in meeting production targets.
  • Support quality control processes to ensure food products meet company standards.
  • Collaborate with the production team and report any issues or concerns that may affect production.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of bulk products and finished products.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
