ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Understanding of food safety regulations and guidelines a must
• Basic math skills to accurately measure ingredients and calculate quantities
• Experience in food production or related industry is preferred

Desirable Criteria

• Knowledge of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) principles and practices
• Mechanical knowledge to operate production machinery and equipment

We are seeking detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic to join our team as a Production Assistant. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the production process working within our teams in the production kitchen. Please note that this position may require standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 50 pounds. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions accurately is essential.

• Assist in the production of making sweet and savoury products like Pies, cakes, scones, muffins, cupcakes, sausage rolls, quiches and scotch eggs and by performing various tasks as assigned
• Operate machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures
• Perform quality checks and inspections to identify any defects or issues
• Package finished products and prepare them for shipment or distribution
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
